While the internet was evolving, I was just paying for a blank white screen.</p> <h3 id="the-breakdown">The Breakdown:</h3> <ul> <li><strong>Year 1 (The Void):</strong> 100% procrastination. Total posts: 0. Total guilt: High.</li> <li><strong>Year 2 (Today):</strong> The panic finally set in. I realized I’m paying for a 3-year subscription to a ghost town.</li> <li><strong>Year 3 (The Future):</strong> Hopefully, by then, I&rsquo;ll know what I’m doing here.</li> </ul> <h3 id="why-the-wait">Why the wait?</h3> <p>I didn&rsquo;t want to build some elaborate &ldquo;digital garden&rdquo; where I carefully curate every leaf and twig of my thoughts. I just wanted a place to exist online. But it turns out, even &ldquo;just existing&rdquo; requires you to actually hit the <code>publish</code> button.</p>
